Karen Hillman is a mixed media artist and award-winning photographer. She describes her work as “Vintage Finery” as her art pieces encompass using forgotten items from eras of the past, and reinventing them into extraordinary treasures. Her style is romantic and ethereal and some of her favorite works are her angels, fairies, and one-of-a-kind religious pieces. Karen’s art studio is located within her charming storybook home located in Frederick, Maryland. Fondly called, “The Cozy Castle”, she hosts her unique classes and retreats at The Cozy Castle, around the country and abroad.
