Akshobya Kadampa Buddhist Centre

Akshobya Kadampa Buddhist Centre is a flourishing Buddhist community located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Centre provides a peaceful and inspiring environment in which people can learn about Buddhism and meditation. The meditation and Buddhist practices taught are suitable for everyone, from those who seek simple relaxation to those who wish to find lasting inner peace and contentment through following the Buddhist path. Whatever you’re looking for, Akshobya Kadampa Buddhist Centre has something to offer.

At the Centre there are regular classes in Buddhism, meditation and positive thinking, meditation retreats and special day and weekend courses. 

Akshobya Kadampa Buddhist Centre, located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union. We are one of over a thousand centres worldwide founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Since 2001 the centre has provided a peaceful, inspiring environment where people can learn about Buddhism and meditation in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
