GIZ Blockchain Lab develops and implements governance models for Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The Lab engages with the start-up ecosystem, governmental institutions, academia, and the business sector to identify the most promising Blockchain use cases for societal benefit. It is part of GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH), an international implementing agency for sustainable development on behalf of the German Government.
