Assemble your squad! Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Sigma Kappa Zeta Chapter's Amazing Race Scavenger Hunt is back to test your knowledge as your team strategizes its route to make it to historic stops in Brooklyn..with a few twists and turns along the way.
The morning will include a light warm-up and overview of the rules. The afternoon promises a fun filled post hunt celebration where the winners will be announced and awarded their cash prizes.
Your team must be comprised of at least two people but not more than five people.
Prizes: Our first place team will receive $500 (team prize) and our second place team will receive $300 (team prize).
All registrations are FINAL. No refunds will be offered for cancellations. Online registration will close at 11:59pm on September 21, 2019. No on-site registration/walk-ups will be permitted/accepted. Rain or Shine event!
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes - a valid photo ID must be present. Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult during the race to compete.
Do I need to fill out any paperwork?
Yes! If there is anyone under the age of 18 participating, we will need a signed parental consent form on file. All participants, no matter the age, must will out an athletic waiver. What do I need to bring to the event?
You will need a metro card - make sure there's enough money on it (or you have an unlimited) - and smartphone to participate. Race participants are restricted to solely relying on mass transit while completing our Scavenger Hunt. Failure to comply will result in immediate disqualification.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Not necessary, but it's best to at least have your mobile ticket which will assist us to quickly complete registration on the morning of the event. However, if you forget we will have your team check in on our sign in sheet.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, of course, up until registration closes on September 21, 2019 at 11:59pm.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
No. The person who is registered must be the person who competes. We urge you to update the registration information if you know something will change and you are unable to attend.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
No. The person who registers must be the person who competes. We communicate with that person via email to that person with our Scavenger Hunt rules.
What is the refund policy?
No refunds. All sales are final.
