John Barter, Miranda Beard, Andrea Berente, Eeva Margetta Boyce, Mischa Clements, Andrew Durkin, Malcolm Fletcher, Angela Fletcher, Melanie Godson, Christine Lutzu, Colin Mackenzie, Guy Morgan, Desiree Muller, John Nottage, Catherine Riney, Terry Warne and Maria Borshchyk are a group of local amateur photographers who first met whilst attending adult education evening classes studying digital photography at the London South East College (LSEC) Greenwich campus. They share a passion for photography and formed a student group as a channel for sharing their interests and developing their art form. This is their third collaborative gallery exhibition following the theme “Geometry”.
Photography, according to Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908-2004), has “the decisive moment” when everything lines up. The remit for this exhibition was to "Express a sense of geometry in your world".
How will each photographer choose to interpret this theme? The choice was theirs to make!
”To photograph: it is to put on the same line of sight the head, the eye and the heart.” - Henri Cartier-Bresson
